Travelling around the motorway system of the UK I have become a fan of the brutalist motorway bridges, flyovers and foot bridges that bestride our roads. This is a selection of my favourites, including the M57 'The Pies’ bridge referring to the Liverpool band. "It stayed up over 20 years, and Alexei Sayle used to say the council would paint around it."
